Weronika Kałwak, PhD, is a social and health psychology researcher at the Institute of Psychology, Qualitative Research Lab, Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland. Her research practice and teaching focus on qualitative methods. Since 2019, she has attempted to understand how the climate crisis affects the mental health and well-being of people living in Central Europe. Weronika’s academic interests extend to environmental activism, eco-anxiety or the situation of indigenous communities. She is deeply inspired by critical thinking. Her greatest passion is travelling: she recently visited the global centre of critical health psychology in New Zealand.
