Marcin Krassowski, PhD, cultural anthropologist, ethnographer, doctor of cultural and religious studies. His research focuses on environmental anthropology and grassroots responses to the climate crisis.

He has conducted multi-site ethnographic field research in European ecovillages, focusing in particular on the ways in which knowledge is produced in the landscape and the characteristics of its distribution. Currently, in the SPECIFIC project, he is working on velomobility in the context of the 15-minute city concept. He was a visiting scholar at the Rachel Carson Centre in Munich (2019), the University of Florida in Gainesville (2019) and the University of California Santa Cruz (2022).

In addition to his academic work, he publishes articles on the environment in Dwutygodnik, Przekrój and Polityka.pl. He is a graduate of the Polish School of Reportage.
