Rafał Szymanowski is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland. He has worked on the issues of political economy of economic crises, the role of national economic ideas, policies towards sustainable transport and electric mobility. A former Fulbright scholar at UC Berkeley (Political Science) and visiting researcher at Universität Zürich in Switzerland (IPZ UZH). In 2023 he received a postdoctoral research grant Sonata from the National Science Center in Poland to conduct the project “Zeitenwende. Change and its contestation in the model of strategic foreign economic policy of Germany”.
