The four ITEM teams gathered in Poznań (12-13 February 2024) to strategize for the sprint to conclude the project. Three months after their meeting in Utrecht, the Netherlands, teams from Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU), Oxford University, Norway’s Transportøkonomisk Institute, and Utrecht University reconvened in Poznań. The agenda encompassed a comprehensive review of the entire project, looking ahead to grasp the total planned outputs and academic papers. Additionally, workshops focused on the three primary research work packages were conducted. Key remaining tasks were deliberated, including the potential focus and approach for comparing household/user interviews, and the planning of the final three stakeholder workshops on policy mixes. Filip Schmidt and some AMU team students led a walking tour illustrating the evolution of mobility infrastructure in Poznań, ranging from the contentious modernization of the railway station to the meticulous street-level efforts to enhance pedestrian conditions in public spaces. Throughout the two days, consortium teams shared multiple meals, relishing Polish cuisine (with ample vegetarian options) and strengthening collaborative bonds.
