You can also submit requests for inaccessible information and complaints about inaccessibility in the same way.
Everyone has the right to request that a website, mobile application or any of its elements be made accessible. You can also request that information be made accessible through an alternative access method, such as reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, the website or mobile application and the method of contact. If the requestor indicates a need to receive the information through an alternative method of access, the requestor should also indicate a convenient way for the requestor to present that information. The public sector body should comply with the request promptly, but not later than 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to comply with this time limit, the public sector body shall inform the applicant without delay of the date when it will be possible to comply with the request, which shall not be later than two months from the date of the request. If digital access is not possible, the public sector body may propose an alternative way of accessing the information. In the event that the public sector body refuses to comply with the request to ensure accessibility or an alternative method of accessing information, the person making the request may submit a complaint regarding the provision of digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or website element or mobile application. After exhausting the above procedure, you may also submit a complaint to the Ombudsman.
