Izabela Schiffauer, PhD, is assistant professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU). She leads an international team working on a project on corporate human rights and environmental due diligence and its implementation into domestic law financed by the National Science Centre. A lawyer and linguist by training, she explores the concepts such as the rights of nature, climate justice and the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. Her research interests include the roles of public and private sectors in the environmental governance, notably corporate responsibility for environmental harm and climate change.
